About the speaker: Phil Broomfield is a horticulturalist and historic garden enthusiast, better known as The Garden History Detective. He specialises in researching and interpreting historic gardens across the county, uncovering the stories behind their landscapes, planting and design. Phil is Assistant County Organiser for the Poole & Bournemouth National Garden Scheme and Head Gardener at Forest Holme Hospice in Poole.
