About the speaker: Tom Balch is Managing Director of Rose of Jericho and has spent more than 20 years working in building conservation. Having studied history at the University of Bristol and been awarded VCH Young Historian of the Year, Tom has a particular passion for historic buildings and traditional materials, combining practical conservation experience with historical research and a scientific approach to understanding historic fabric.
