The ancient custom of wassailing is making a come-back. In this talk, Bonny Sartin offers a guide to the history and folklore attached to various forms of wassailing. Any custom that includes singing and wishing your crops and neighbours well has to be good!

About the speaker: Bonny Sartin, of The Yetties fame, has been a driving force in keeping Dorset’s folk traditions alive. Through recordings, tours and talks, he has shared the region’s rich musical heritage with audiences far beyond the county’s borders.

Admission: Free entry for members of Sherborne Museum. £5 non-members.
